In the beginning, there were full and regular links, everyone had a chance to be secure, not get viruses, and not get phished with fake sites hidden behind short links. Then one day a tech guy thought up programs like tinyURL which masked all these scammy and spammy links and told affiliates it protected their commissions which is a freaking LIE. This guy made millions showing ads to foolish affiliates who destroyed their reputations to line this guy's pockets.
