Surrounding the triangles are concentric circles and lotus petals, each layer carrying its own symbolic meaning. The lotus petals, often arranged in groups of eight and sixteen, represent purity, spiritual unfolding, and divine beauty. Just as a lotus rises unstained from muddy water, the Shri Yantra teaches that spiritual growth is possible even amid worldly challenges. These layers are said to correspond to different levels of consciousness, guiding the seeker inward toward the bindu.
