South Korea’s Supreme Court has announced final decision for a six-year legal dispute concerning the popular song "Baby Shark." On August 14, 2025, the court announce the decision in the favor of Pinkfong, determining that its version of the song was distinct enough from Jonathan Wright's original creation to not violate any laws. This case now represents the end of one of the most prolonged intellectual property rights conflicts in the realm of children's music.
