What are the symptoms that a pet has ingested poison?

If your pet has eaten something toxic, symptoms might start subtly or appear suddenly. Look out for vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, wobbliness, tremors, or extreme tiredness. In more severe cases, seizures, trouble breathing, or unconsciousness can occur. Some toxins even cause internal bleeding without obvious signs at first.
Some symptoms can appear after the poison has already caused serious internal damage.
